Interactive Media Studies Capstone project, collaboration with 84.51 in Cincinnati.
Challenge
84.51 was developing their new mobile interfaces and tasked my capstone with creating and designing a suite of mobile applications relevant to their business needs.
Solution
I collaboratively defined the user interface and experience principles we were going to adhere to for our work. I also worked with the app ideas team, overseeing the graphic design and consistency of the application of the brand identity. After our best practices were defined, we began outlining ideas for each application and then moved on to sketching and wire framing each product.
We branded each application with one of the gradients from 84.51’s existing brand. We also designed an icon system that created separate identities for each application and clarified navigation throughout the mobile interface.
